3 Tbsp chopped chili
1 small handful each of chopped onion and garlic
1 Tbsp chopped lemon grass
1 Tbsp chopped galangal
1 Tbsp chopped kaffir leaves
1 Tbsp coriander powder
1 Tbsp cumin powder (or miso or soya bean paste)
Mix all ingredients together in a blender until a paste is formed.
